Job Description

 

  • Managing a variety of diverse projects throughout the design/planning phase, from preliminary design through obtaining a permit and completion of detailed design, and, as required, also during the execution phase.
  • Ability to read zoning plans (Taba) and plans applicable to the lot.
  • Building a work plan to advance the design and permitting processes, and responsibility for the work and for tracking the work plan's practical implementation, updating it periodically as needed.
  • Reviewing plans and permits and providing design solutions.
  • Preparing and managing the expense budget for the design phase.
  • Preparing construction cost estimates and price analyses for different execution alternatives.
  • Managing the tender processes for engaging execution contractors, evaluating tender management strategies, and conducting negotiations with contractors.
  • Managing the team of planners and consultants for the various projects.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Licensed Architect and/or Registered Civil Engineer – required
  • At least approximately 5 years of experience leading large-scale design/planning projects
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and make decisions
  • Broad systemic perspective
  • Ability to lead clients, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computerized systems – required

Job Description

• Advancing and coordinating a variety of diverse projects throughout the design/planning phase, from preliminary design through obtaining a permit and completion of detailed design, and, as required, also during the execution phase.
• Tracking the completion of consultants' tasks, and responsibility for monitoring the work plan and its implementation to advance the design and permitting processes as planned.
• Advancing permitting procedures and ongoing tracking of the various permitting tasks with the relevant parties, including authorities, the client, and the various consultants.
• Responsibility for tracking the expense budget during the design phase, and for consolidating, reviewing, and approving consultants' invoices.
